Little League International Update on COVID-19 (Baseball & Softball ONLY)

We have previously communicated that all activities are on hold until April 6, 2020.  We were hoping for good news as we deal with our new reality.  We were looking forward to celebrating Lionville’s 50th opening day on April 18, 2020.  However, Little League International, in conjunction with the CDC, has now moved the date to May 11.

After our 50th Anniversary celebration, LYA will be holding Picture Day in the afternoon for most baseball and softball teams.  Your time slot will be entered for you at a later date.

Join us from 4pm - 8pm at Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers on Wednesday, April 15th for an LYA Day.  15% of the proceeds will go to LYA.  Let's kick off our 50th Anniversary season together!

Congratulations to our U17 (2002B) Lionville Jaguars!!

A massive congratulations to our U17 (2002B) Lionville Jaguars who defeated a tough Parkland team in the EPYSA Presidents Cup Final 3-0 at United Sports yesterday.   The Jaguars are the first Lionville team to win the EPYSA Presidents’ Cup title.

Congratulations to our 11u Boys Tournament Team!  LYA is so proud of this group of boys who fought long and tough!

Thanks to Matina Stravous & Marchwood Hardware for making our parks better!

This past weekend, Matina Stravous, a 7th grade student at LMS, painted the equipment box at the soccer/lacrosse fields on Wharton Boulevard with the help of Marchwood Hardware.
